What is your favorite Christian book and why?

Hi! This is my first blog post, and rather than starting off by reviewing a book, I will start off with a question.

Other than the Bible, what is one of your favorite Christian books, and why? It can be fiction, non-fiction, historical, biographies, etc.

Hi Dea! Thanks for your comment! I'm starting to realize I asked a hard question! (notice I have yet to post what my favorite book is?)
Have a good day!

Hmmm, my favorite fiction book series is The Lord of the Rings.
My favorite theology book so far is the Gospel Primer for Christians.
Why that you ask???
Because it helps me to think on the Gospel and encourages me daily.

Faithful Women and Their Extraordinary God
by Noel Piper

These are the stories of five ordinary women Sarah Edwards, Lilias Trotter, Gladys Aylward, Esther Ahn Kim, and Helen Roseveare who trusted in their extraordinary God as he led them to do great things for his kingdom. Noël Piper holds up their lives and deeds as examples of what it means to be truly faithful.

This is a great book to read. It's amazing to see how God uses these women for His divine purposes and glory. How He leads them to safety in their times of need, how He protects them, and how He uses difficult opportunities to challenge them to grow in their walk with the Lord.

I suggest this book for all fellow sisters in Christ.
